Wife, six children
Hiroshi Takemura (original anime)
Kurebayashi was a graduate of Mamoru's school, and the two knew each other. His occupation is a botanist with his lifework being on the study of roses. He is married and has six children, three girls and three boys, with another one on the way. As he mentioned, almost every variety of rose is planted in his green house, and he also had a section for tropical plants.
Kurebayashi's love for plants and caring for them is very strong.
Kurebayashi was a man with dark brown hair and tanned skin who wore glasses. His outfit consisted of a yellow plaid shirt with a green vest, blue pants with a belt, and black boots, as well as a straw sunhat.
Mamoru took Usagi, Hotaru, Chibiusa, and Luna to his upperclassman's botany garden while they were on a picnic for lunch. He was also Mimete's target for his Pure Heart Crystal.
When hail broke parts of the ceiling in the greenhouse and he went to fix them, Mimete threw a sledgehammer at the ladder, causing Kurebayashi and Hotaru to fall. She then unleashed the Daimon, U-Baulla. It grabbed him and removed his Pure Heart Crystal. After a brief battle, the Daimon was destroyed by Rainbow Moon Heart Ache, and Kurebayashi's crystal was returned to him.
The kanji in his family name means "evening" or "dusk" (暮) and "woods" or "forest" (林).
- He was actually never refered to by name in the episode. Mamoru only called him "Sempai" (upperclassman).
- "Kurebayashi" is his surname.
