Taeko Kawata, formerly known as Taeko Yamada (山田妙子), is a Japanese voice actress who voiced Momoko Momohara in the first anime series.

Other roles of hers include Amy Rose in the "Sonic the Hedgehog" franchise, Nene Mori in "Princess Nine", Arale Norimaki in the second "Dr. Slump" anime, and Pia in "Dragon Half".[1]

She has also done dubbing roles for cartoons and live-action shows. She was originally affiliated with 81 Produce, but is now a freelance voice actress.[2]

  • As Taeko provided the voice of Arale Norimaki in the second Dr. Slump anime, another Sailor Moon voice actress, Mami Koyama provided Arale's voice in the first anime.
