Supersonic Waves is an involuntary attack used only rarely, and only when Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon had no other way to protect themselves.

In order to perform this attack, they panicked and started crying. This causes that their odango covers would amplify their wailing until it became physically painful for enemies.

In both the manga and anime, this first occurred when Sailor Moon faced Morga.

Video Games

In the game "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon", Sailor Moon concentrates her cries to stun the enemies on screen, very similar to Sonic Cry. It requires two crystals to perform this attack.

This attack was used twice: in episode 1 and episode 153. The first time, Sailor Moon's noisy wailing incapacitated the customers under Morga's control who were trying to attack her.

The second time this was performed alongside Sailor Chibi Moon and with it, the duo is not only able to inmobilize PallaPalla's lemur, Garigari, but also to destroy an entire building. This technique never appeared in any other anime episode.
