Sailor Moon Sunflowers

A picture of some Sailor Moon Sunflowers.

The Sailor Moon Sunflower is a hybrid of the Helianthus genus of sunflowers.[1] These sunflowers are grown in the Barbecue Sunflower Garden at Showa Memorial Park and are named after Sailor Moon because sunflowers were popular in Japan and the people who named the hybrids thought that naming the flowers after a popular character would attract more people to the park. It was named on July 27, 2004.
