Philipp Brammer was a German voice actor and actor who voiced Ryo Urawa in the German dub of the first anime series.

Phillip began voice acting in the early 1980s, and was the dub-over voice of actors Jason Priestley and Aamir Khan, and the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) in "Doctor Who". He also began acting in stage productions and multiple TV shows. He is well-known for playing Jan Günzel in "Lindenstraße".[1]

On July 28, 2014, when Philipp did not return from a tour of the Edelweißlahnerkopf mountain, his wife filed a "missing" report to the police. His body was found about four days later on August 1st. He died of an accidental fall.[2] He was buried on August 8th.
