The "Moon Kaleido Scope" and "Chibi Moon Kaleido Scope" are weapons given to Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon by Helios in the Dream arc of the manga, 90's anime, and crystal. It is used to perform Moon Gorgeous Meditation. Chibiusa's version is a little smaller than Usagi's.

Manga and Crystal[]

Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon would use these to perform Moon Gorgeous Meditation against the members of the Dead Moon Circus.

On April 1st, Mamoru purchased a pair of normal kaleidoscopes for Usagi and Chibiusa after they begged for them and they enjoyed looking through them. The next day, they found themselves under attack by Lemures without weapons and Helios asked Chibiusa to summon him with Twinkle Yell. He used his power to awaken their kaledioscopes into weapons. The kaledioscopes had souls of their own and wanted to help the girls who adored them and the weapons introduced themselves and told them to use Moon Gorgeous Meditation to attack. This was the only time they spoke in the manga and they did not speak at all in Sailor Moon Eternal with Helios speaking instead.

Once they became weapons, they continued to look like glass kaleidoscopes but with new tops and intricate handles with wings on them. It was the only weapon in the series whose material was known.

90s Anime[]

In the 4th season it was a much stronger and upgraded version of the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. This rod/scepter was pink in color and does not look like a kaleidoscope.

Sailor Chibi Moon did not have one in the SuperS season; however, in the SuperS Movie she mysteriously acquired a smaller version of Usagi's weapon from thin air. With it she and Super Sailor Moon both used an even stronger and more effective version of Moon Gorgeous Meditation to annihilate Queen Badiane and her Black Dream Hole in one single stroke.

In the 5th and final season, it was upgraded to the Eternal Tiare.
