Miyuki Kanbe was the third actress to play Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon in the Sera Myu musicals, and was the third longest-running actress to play Sailor Moon.

After graduating from the musicals, Miyuki released various photobooks and idol DVDs. She is also known for singing the two opening themes for the anime Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, and for playing Hinaka Tachibana in the tokusatsu series Masked Rider Hibiki. Miyuki was set to play Eponine in Les Misérables (the Japanese production), but left after becoming ill.

Her health continued to grow worse until her death on June 18, 2008, caused by sudden heart failure.[1]
