The "Shadow Sealing Jar" is an item that was featured in the 2nd part of the Sailor Moon SuperS Special.

As part of the act, a ventriloquist and his dummy would claim that it contained the true feelings of everyone on Earth and discuss whether or not he should break it.
The dummy had turned out to be a Lemures and was stealing energy for the Dead Moon Circus. It had attacked Haruka when she was too weak and sick to transform. Sailor Neptune had arrived to save her but the ventriloquist had threatened to break the jar if she attacked, saying that if it was broken, all of the shadows on the planet would begin to attack their owners. That didn't stop her and the jar was broken by Sailor Neptune's Deep Submerge. When the shocked ventriloquist asked how she knew he was bluffing, she replied that she did not. She had simply knew that a world without Haruka isn't worth saving.
