"Jupiter Power, Make Up" is the first command used by Makoto Kino to transform into Sailor Jupiter in the manga, anime, and Crystal. And the only command in the live-action series.
Manga[]
Although Makoto transformed into Sailor Jupiter in Act 5 of the manga, she did not say the phrase, "Jupiter Power, Make Up!" until Act 10. Makoto held up her transformation pen in the air and in an instant became Sailor Jupiter.
Anime[]
First, Makoto held up her Transformation Pen. She then began to spin around as streams of electricity emitted from the pen, then held still as the electrical energy formed into a series of rings around her. The rings spun around her and, in a flash of light, her entire sailor uniform appeared. Sailor Jupiter then turned around and assumed her finishing pose.
Live-Action[]
As Makoto called out the command, her Jewelry Star Bracelet changed from its smaller, sealed form into its full form, and the gems began to glow. She crossed her arms and her fingernails turned green, then she swept one arm over her head, and her hair turned auburn and curly as her leotard and ponytail decorations appeared. She then rotated as lightning crackled around her; another flash of lightning formed her skirt, collar, bow, brooch, and choker, and as she turned away two pink ribbons formed her back bow.
She then jumped up and, as she landed, lightning struck her feet, forming her boots; she folded her arms, then spread them apart, and more whitish lightning formed her gloves and earrings. She swept her hand across her waist, creating her belt with potpourri ball, then passed her other hand in front of her forehead to add her tiara. Sailor Jupiter finished her transformation in her final pose as lightning flashed.
Crystal[]
Makoto holds up her pen against the planet Jupiter against a green background and shouts "Jupiter Power, Make Up!". As she does that, she lets go of the pen and Makoto holds up her hand and her fingernails turn green, which is similar to her Jupiter Star Power, Make Up transformation in the anime.
Makoto's body turns into a dark blue silhouette color against the green background, and she holds the pen up. Light green-colored lightning swirls around her and her back is turned and she is already clothed in her Sailor Jupiter uniform. She turns around and the Jupiter symbol appears on her forehead. Her tiara forms and she assumes her finishing pose.

Trivia[]
- In the 90's anime, Makoto's buttocks is seen during her transformation, starting the rumor that Sailor Jupiter was missing the bottom of her leotard.
