"Act 5 - Is Usagi a True Friend?" is the fifth episode of the live-action series, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. The episode first aired in Japan on November 1, 2003.

Ami deals with her doubts about her friendship with Usagi.

Ami's horoscope indicates that her friendships mightn ot be as strong as she thinks and she hears girls talking about how people thinking that they are friends when they aren't are annoying. Usagi tries to get Rei to listen to a Minako Aino CD and when Ami enters the conversation Usagi is upset that she calls her Tsukino-san. Ami sees a drama about betrayal and gets a book about how to be a friend. As she reads it in her room she wonders if Usagi will stop being her friend. With the book's advice Ami acts very differently at school the next day; she calls her Usagi-chan, greets her classmates loudly and boos when they get a surprise test. Ami and Naru go to Usagi's house and when it's time for cram school Ami decides to stay and joins in with the karaoke and make up. Ami goes to the toilet to take care of her overdone makeup but finding the whole experience more tiring than studying she collapses all of a sudden. Usagi and Mamoru argue as usual with them mispronouncing each other's names as Chijou Ei and kobuta (piglet, literally small pig) respectively. The youma is beaten and the next day the girls are more casual and friendly with each other.
