"Act 31 Infinity 4 Setsuna - Sailor Pluto -" is the 31st chapter of the Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon manga series and the 5th chapter of the Infinity arc. It was written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi.
Summary[]
The Sailor Guardians battle Tellu of the Witches 5, who uses plants called Telluns to drain energy, but is destroyed by a reawakened Sailor Pluto.
Plot[]
Setsuna Meiou is gathering data, noticing abnormalities of the atmosphere over the area of Infinity Academy. She sees that the energy readings are really higher than normal.
Professor Tomoe and Kaolinite consult with Pharaoh 90 about the progress in finding the light that is similar to the Taioron Crystal as well as finding suitible Hoste for Daimon eggs. They plan to make the Earth a second homeworld for Pharaoh 90 and the Daimons after they destroy the Sailor Senshi.
Chibiusa visits Hotaru and gives her the clay Holy Grail to her as a token of friendship. Usagi searches the house for anything suspicious, learning earlier that Tomoe is highly connected to Infinity Academy. During one of Hotaru's episode, Hotaru touches Chibiusa's Silver Crystal and she immediately feels better.
The Sailor Senshi visit a new store in town that has plants called Telluns. Makoto decides to buy a Tellun to add to her many othe plants at her apartment. Makoto and Minako begin to feel sleepy, and when Makoto comes to, she sees the Tellun has already bloomed and her other plants are dead, leading her to immediately destroy it.
Meanwhile Setsuna had fallen into the same trap and collapsed as the Tellun absorbs her energy. Haruka and Michiru sense that she is in danger and that she is one of their allies. Setsuna feels she needs to accomplish something and she needs to be awakened. Suddenly Haruka, and Michiru are transported to her and a new being has awakened.
The Sailor Senshi explore the Botanical Gardens at Infinity Academy, where they are confronted by another member of the Witches 5, Tellu. She has been using the Telluns to gather life energy from humans and use them as hosts. She attacks the Sailor Senshi and is able to withstand Sailor Moon's Spiral Heart Attack. Chibi Moon wants to help fight and her Luna-P transforms into the Pink Moon Rod. With her new weapon she uses Pink Sugar Heart Attack on Tellu, but Tellu transforms into a Daimon. She charges after Chibi Moon, but is destroyed by Dead Scream, performed by the newly awakened Sailor Pluto.
